Health Insurance | top

The Heart Group currently has a cafeteria plan with a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account and the DHP Network.  The out of pocket max is $5,000 for in-network and $10,000 out of network

Dental Insurance | top

Paid for by the employee, the dental plan covers the employee and eligible dependents for Preventive, Basic & Majors services.

Employee 401K Retirement | top

You can save any percent of your annual salary up to the maximum allowed by the IRS code.  These funds are managed by John Hancock Retirement Plan Services.  In Lieu of matching The Heart Group has a profit share plan, based on a percentage of your previous years earnings with THG.  There is a 1 year waiting period before you are eligible to receive contributions with entry dates of January 1 or July 1 following your 1-year anniversary date.

Bereavement | top

Full and part time employees may be granted time off with pay to attend a funeral of an immediate family member for up to 3 scheduled work days.

Paid Time Off | top

PTO is earned based on the first forty (40) payable hours each week, and according to length of service.  New full time employees will accrue 80 hours the first year and will be eligible to start using accrued hours on the first of the month following 60 days of service.

Holidays | top

Full and part time employees will receive holiday pay equal to their normal workday.  THG is closed for the following holidays:  New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Life Insurance | top

The Heart Group provides each employee with $25,000 of life insurance. 

Voluntary Life Insurance | top

Employees can purchase a guaranteed issue policy for five times the employee's annual salary, up to a maximum of $100,000. The employee can also purchase coverage for his or her spouse and dependent(s). The policy is portable, meaning employees can keep it, even if no longer employed by the Heart Group.

Long-term Disablility | top

The Heart Group provides 60% of your regular wages after a 26 week waiting period.

Short-term Disablility | top

Company provides 60% of your regular wages after a 7 day waiting period for illness or first day for hospitalization.

Flex Spending Account Plan | top

Employees contribute a pre-tax dollar amount to a specific account. Funds can be used for unreimbursed medical expense reimbursement. A $5,000 maximum applies to dependent care expenses ($2,500 if married and filing separate returns).

Conference/Education l | top

Upon prior approval, all costs are paid at 100%.

Tuition Assistance l | top

Upon prior approval, tuition only costs will be reimbursed upon completion of a course with a grade of C or better.

Vision Care Plan l | top

Employee paid.  Employees and their family members receive significant discounts on eye care services and eyewear through the VSP vision plan.

Employee Assistance Program l | top

Provides for up to five free sessions, per problem, per year, to you and any member of your household.

Perfect Attendance Program l | top

Full and part time employees who do not miss any scheduled days of work in a 6 month period (1/1-6/30 & 7/1-12/31) will receive 10% of their normal working hours per week in PTO (i.e. 40 hours=4 hours of PTO).

AFLAC Policies l | top

Employees have the opportunity to purchase Short Term Disability, Accident Expense, Hospital Intensive Care, Cancer Care, Critical Care Insurance and Direct Cash Supplement policies through AFLAC.
