Chief Executive Officer. 

The Heart Group has an immediate opening for a Chief Executive Officer.  The Overall responsibility is to provide leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors to develope and implement THG's mission and strategic plan, along with supervising all department managers , clinic activities and staff.

 Requirements:

* MHA, MBA or MS in health administration or business administration.  Professional development courses in health care management.

* Minimum of seven years executive level experience including five years of experience

    in the administration of a physician practice.

Director of Non-Invasive Services

The Heart Group has an immediate Opening for a Director of Non-Invasive Services. The Overall responsibility is to provide leadership to our Non-Invasive Departments and hospital based employees.  Oversees accreditations, optimizes efficiency and establishes and implements policies, procedures and goals for departments.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field and Management experience required.  Must have working knowledge of NI Accreditation processes.  CPR  & ACLS Certification a plus.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECH

The Heart Group has an immediate opening for a PRN to Part-time Nuclear Medicine Tech. The qualified individual will be responsible for preparing patients and assisting physicians with treadmill testing and preparing, assaying and administering radio pharmaceuticals for various Nuclear medicine procedures; performing imaging procedures and computer processing; surveying incoming and outgoing radio nuclides for radiation levels and recording levels.   Responsible for providing the Business Office with daily patient radionuclides dosages and ensuring scans are reported in a timely manner.

Medical Assistant Float

The Heart Group has an immediate opening for a full time Float Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant provides various tasks, medically related and non-medical activities to assist physicians, nurses and front desk staff in delivery of patient care. Must have related experience and working knowledge of GEMMS EMR or other EMR systems.  CPR Certification required and Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Registered Nurse-Electrophysiology Department

The Heart Group has an immediate opening for a Full time RN in our EP Department.  The office nurse, under the general supervision of the director of operations and physician, provides nursing duties to coordinate patient care and services for The Heart Group.  RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.  Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care.  Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians. 

 

Requirements: Current Indiana RN license with Cardiology experience.  Electrophysiology experience a plus.  ACLS and CPR certification required.

Certified Coding Specialist

The Heart Group has an immediate opening for a Certified Coding Specialist.  The Coding Specialist is responsible for coordinating, verifying, distributing, and managing all billable services.  Will coordinate with clinical staff to get charge information on all patients, code information about procedures performed and diagnosis.  Verifies and completes charge information in the database and produces bills.  Maintains all required billing records, reports and files and does chart audits.

Requirements:  High School diploma or equivalent with some college preferred.  Must have CCS certification.  1-3 years experience in coding and auditing preferred.  Must have knowledge of how to use CPT and ICD9 codes and manuals.
